Happy Easter

From our family to yours

Our first Easter together

Our holidays these past nine plus months have been anything but normal, but strangely enough they have become our new normal.  Each holiday we find ourselves in Rochester surrounded by doctors, nurses and machines ... but we also find ourselves surrounded by love and family.

Cecilia Loves Her Elephant

On Sunday we packed up Zoe and Isabelle and traveled the two hours down winding roads to reach our peanut, Cecilia, and spend the day together.  Cecilia was super excited to see us and did not want to nap the entire time we were there.  Zoe and Isabelle were also super excited ~ they laughed and played all day!  Isabelle even tried to help liberate Cecilia of her NG and nasal cannula.

"Keys taste yummy!" says Zoe.

Needless to say we would love to just be able to celebrate at home, but beggars cannot be choosers - we were together and that is what matters.

NINE MONTHS

And Still Going Strong...Or Should I Say Skibness  : )

It is so crazy to think that nine months ago I had just finished getting sliced and diced so our beautiful daughters could make their grand entrance into this world.

With all the negative going on in the world, I have to take a moment to sit back and just think about how blessed we truly are.  True, things are not as we wish them to be, but they are not nearly as horrible as they could be or even as horrible as they have been.  Adam and I have four beautiful, amazing daughters - we have been blessed with grace and forgiveness, family and friends who love us and our girls, and we have each other.

Happy Baby

Cecilia Hope

Our little peanut.

Weight:  5.1 (11 pounds, 3.8 ounces)

Loves to smile at her nurses, play with her toys and listen to Mary Poppins!  Misses her family an incredible amount but loves when the nurses let Momma talk to her on the phone.

Thank you Jen!

Isabelle Grace

Our monster baby.

Weight:  6.05 (13 pounds, 5.3 ounces)

Loves to stand up (with some assistance), munch on her crinkle letters, and chase Gus under the bed!  Has been doing a great job as the big sister at home, but is definitely ready for Cecilia to come home and take over this role - Zoe is a handful!

Zoe Elizabeth

HI!

Our monkey.

Weight:  6.00 (13 pounds, 3.6 ounces)

Loves to hang out with Daddy, kick her piano, and play hide and seek from everyone!  Her eyes have been gaining strength each day, though she has decided that she no longer enjoys her eye drops.

Short & Sweet

Thank you all for loving us and our girls.

Love,

Adam & daneille
